Balazs Furjes (Hungary) after Imane Khelif’s match at the Olympics: “IOC must draw consequences”
“Not competing was never an option for Anna Luca Hamori”
Sport (Paris). “We Hungarians believe that every match, every game or competition has to be decided on the playfield, on the track, in the pool or in the ring. Competitions must not be decided elsewhere. Therefore it was never an option, for the Hungarian Olympic family, that” Anna Luca Hamori “would not compete. Not fighting was never an option for Luca”. This is the statement of Hungarian member of IOC Balázs Furjes after the boxing match against the Algerian hyperandrogynous boxer Imane Khelif at 2024 Olympics in Paris. “We are an old and loyal member of the International Olympic family, we had an Hungarian founding father of IOC back in 1894. We have always been an old and original and loyal member. Of course, the Paris boxing competitions have their consequences, and these consequences must be duly evaluated after the Games. The consequences must be drawn, just like for all sports”, Mr. Furjes added. (Andrea Eusebio e Alessandro Boldrini/alanews)
