From Iraq four women tell the truth: “It’s a crime of the whole community”

(Erbil). “It’s a crime of the whole community”. Zargha, Khalida, Yousra and Henan are four women from Iraq and they were child brides, forced by the families and the society to get married too soon, when they were under seventeen years old. They tell their truth and the violence they lived. “As Terre des Hommes we work with legal assistance – explain Miriam Ambrosini, chief of the association Terre des Hommes in Iraq – We want to allow them to have the necessary documents and we help with prevention, with psychosocial support activities”.
